Dehradun (DIPR)-CMD of J.K.Tyre Dr. Raghupati Singhania met the Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM residence on Thursday. Chief Minister said that there is immense potential for industrial development in Uttarakhand. He said that the state Government is making efforts to promote industries in Uttarakhand. “Due to the investment favourable environment and efficient human resources in the state, industrialists have shown interest in setting up industries in Uttarakhand”, he added. Chief Minister said that project for industrial development in the state has been planned by focusing on electronics, pharmaceuticals, financial services, tourism, health, education, infrastructure, energy, automobile etc.
CMD of J.K.Tyre Dr. Raghupati Singhania said that J.K.Tyre has invested Rs 2,000 crore in Laksar. There is plan to invest Rs. 1,250 crore more. 4500 people have been given employment through this industry. He suggested that in order to promote industries in Uttarakhand for investment, incentives should be given, which will attract the investors for the setting up industries in Uttarakhand.
On this occasion, Industrial Advisor of the Chief Minister K. S. Panwar, President of J.K.Tyer Arun K. Bajoria and Devashish Sarkar were present.
