Haridwar/Dehradun (DIPR)–Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the ‘Shri Ram Katha’ organised by Mangalmay Parivar, Haridwar by lighting the traditional lamp at Premnagar Ashram, Haridwar on Saturday.
On this occasion Chief Minister took blessings from ‘Katha Vyas’ Vijay Kaushal Maharaj, Swami Hansadevaharya, Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj. He said that ‘Ram Katha’ has its own relevance in the making of society.
Praising the ‘Katha’ style of Kaushal Maharaj, he hoped that he would continue to guide the society as a ‘Katha Vyas’. Local legislator and cabinet minister Madan Kaushik also honoured all the saints present. He said that our saints will continue to guide us and hoped that devotees of Lord Ram would get benefitted and inspired by the Shri Ram Katha to behold religion and justice.
On this occasion Ranipur legislator Adesh Chauhan, Deoband legislator Brijesh Singh, BJP district president Jaipal Chauhan, Mrs Annu Kakkar and other present. The ‘Shri Ram Katha’ was organized by Brijbhushan Vidyarthi, Vimal Kumar and Dr. Jitender Singh.
