CM reviews development works in assembly constituencies of Haridwar

Dehradun 09 July, 2018-On Monday, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the development works in assembly constituencies of Haridwar district through video conferencing. Mainly the implementation of the Chief Ministers’ announcements was reviewed. In the meeting, in-charge Minister of Haridwar district Mr. Satpal Maharaj, Cabinet Minister Mr. Madan Kaushik, MLA Mr. Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion, Mr. Deshraj Karanwal, Mrs. Mamta Rakesh, Mr. Pradeep Batra, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mr. Suresh Rathore, Mr. Furkan Ahmed, Mr. Adesh Chauhan, Chief Secretary Mr. Utpal Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Om Prakash, along with senior officials of the government, District Magistrates and other district level officers were present.

After the meeting, giving information to the media, cabinet minister said that in today’s review meeting, the opposition party MLAs were also present. The development of the region is most important. We all have to jointly take the state ahead. He said that out of 25 announcements in Haridwar rural area, work on 17 is complete and 8 is underway. In Ranipur, out of 17 announcements, work on 7 is complete and 5 are underway. In Haridwar area, out of 28 announcements, work on 11 is complete and 10 are under progress. In Bhagwanpur, work on all 10 announcements is under progress. In Jwalapur, out of 16 announcements, work on 8 is complete and 8 are under progress. In Jhabrera, work on all 5 announcements is complete. In Piran Kaliyar, work on 2 announcements is complete and 10 are under progress. In Roorkee, out of 20 announcements, work on 12 is complete and 8 are under progress. In Khanpur, out of 57 announcements, work on 42 is complete and 13 are under progress. In Laksar, out of 29 announcements, work on 23 is complete and 6 are under progress. In Manglaur, out of 9 announcements, work on 1 is complete and 7 are under progress.

Earlier in the meeting Chief Minister instructed the officers to complete the necessary formalities as soon as possible to complete the various development projects. He said that the implementation of the Chief Minister’s announcement should be seen on the ground within the stipulated time. He said that such a system should be there in place that doctors in the hospitals are available during the government holidays and night hours as well.

During the review of the Haridwar Assembly Constitunecy, it was told that in the ashrams, where there are no business activities, have been exempted from House Tax. House Tax on Dharmashalas has also been reduced by one third. In the Adarsh ​​Nagar and Vivek Vihar, Rs.1.57 crores have been sanctioned for construction of CC. The work has begun. Tender for installation of 35 handpumps has been completed. DPR of Rs 2.20 crores for the maintenance of Haridwar Urban Drinking Water Scheme is being prepared.  For the construction of Aastha Path from Deendayal Park to Chandi bridge in Namami Gange, there is a plan of Rs 6 crore from Webcos. For distributors under the PMKSY, a proposal of Rs 531 lakhs has been sent to the Government of India. Master plan for the planned development of Haridwar will be prepared. The construction work of parking in Laljiwala and Pawandham will be done under ADB. Places have been identified for modern toilets. Before the year 2021, high-tech CCTV will be installed for traffic control in Haridwar. Estimates will be prepared soon. 10 High Mast Lights have been installed, whereas sites are being selected for 10 more. Tendering is being done for LED Screen for Aarti Darshan. DPR of 75 meter span bridge is being made to connect the Kharkhari Cremation Ground with NH 58. The proposal of 10 per cent sewerage in Haridwar has been submitted to the Government of India. Under the Amrit Yojana, the problem of water logging will be resolved. Apart from this, there are many construction works of internal roads and drains besides other construction activities.

In the Ranipur Assembly Constituency, 40 handpumps are being set up. Work is in progress. Proposal for construction of lining in distributries in Bhadarabad have been submitted to Government of India. Rs 9.65 crore DPR for the renovations of Shivalik Urban Drinking Water Scheme.  Rs 485 lakhs approved for construction of Nullah and tiles in the Valmiki Basti. Tehri displaced BHEL, Shiv Mandir Subhashnagar road widening will be completed by March 2019. Construction of drain from Shiva temple to Barasati Nullah. Rs.1.17 crore approved for road-drain reconstruction at Darshan Lal. A playground will be built in Bhadarabad. DPR for the tube wells and new pipeline for drinking water in Bhadarabad is being prepared. A building will be constructed at Girls Inter College in Jwalpur-Dhirwali. DPR is being prepared for the new drinking water line in Tira.

In Bhagwanpur Assembly Constituency, DPR for 20 handpumps has been prepared. Flood protection work will got done from NABARD in Solani river in Hasanpur. An Animal Service Center will be opened in Baheri, Sahadabad. Estimates have been prepared for the construction of the class room at Government Inter College, Sarkhedi, Iqbalpur and Mohitpur. Estimate for a Bus Stand in Bhagwanpur has been prepared. A consensus has been reached on making the Development Block Office under the state plan. Bhagwanpur would be made Municipal Council.

In Jwalapur Assembly Constituency, DPR is ready for construction of damaged bridge on Khedi-Sikroda route. DPR is ready for the construction of 50 handpumps in the Ghad region. The embankment construction will be done on the left bank of the Ratmau River. DPR is ready for the construction of two class rooms and a laboratory in Government Inter College Manubans. Instructions have been issued to make estimates for the construction of class room and laboratory at Buggawala Girls Inter College. A modern toilet will be constructed in Jwalapur. DPR is ready for bridge construction on the Daluwala-Laralwala-Dhanori route. CC route in Khedi-Sikohpur-Danda Hassangarh will be completed by September. Road side drain will be constructed from Jwalapur to Vadhwa Shaheed. The work of road construction from Buggawala to Daudbassi is almost complete.

In Jhabrera Assembly Constituency, land for the bus stand will be identified in ten days time. DPR for the installation of 25 handpumps are ready. A financial proposal for the construction of two class rooms in the Government Girl Inter College, Lakhnauta has been sent. Light will be installed in Jhabrera Nagar Panchayat.

In Piran Kaliyar Assembly Constituency, 10 handpumps will be installed for which approval will be granted in 15 days. The work of the tube well installation has been approved. Work of preparing the Master Plan for the well planned development of Piran Kaliyar is in progress. Tourism Information Center will be constructed in Piran Kaliyar. DPR will be prepared within one week. The land for the bus stand will be selected soon.

In Roorkee Assembly Constitunecy, DPR for the 85 meter span bridge will be ready by August. DPR for multiple parking is ready. Work of the Master Plan for planned development of Roorkee is in progress.

In Laksar Assembly Constituency, 50 handpumps are to be installed out of which 25 have been approved. DPR for the modernisation of the damaged drinking water pipeline is ready. The construction of the wire crate in Ganga River has been approved. Work of flood security in village Rampur Raihatti, water distribution system under NABARD, construction of wall and laboratory at GI C Niranjanpur have to be done. Land is being selected for parking. Similarly, DPR has been approved for many routes.

In Khanpur Assembly Constitunecy, a plan is being prepared for ending the problem of water logging in village Karanpur. Under NABARD, DPR is being prepared for the tube wells and water distribution system. Two chambers are being made in GGIC Landhaura. DPR of 4 irrigation tube wells is being prepared. Work of 20 handpumps is being done in a phased manner. Drinking water tank is being made in Shailabag, Kalsia and village Khanpur. A survey for widening of the Laksar- Landhaura Roorkee route is being done. Here, more than two dozen routes will be completed by October.
