CM Trivendra participates in tree plantation campaign


Dehradun 07 August, 2018 – Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat participated in a tree plantation campaign in village Bhogpur, Doiwala in Dehradun on Tuesday. Hundreds of Bhogpur villagers, about 2000 school students, forest department, army’s echo task force, USERC, Parmarth Niketan, Hesco participated in the plantation campaign. During the heavy rain, Chief Minister along with the students enthusiastically planted trees and encouraged the other participants as well. Chief Minister assured that efforts made by different organizations for protection of rivers, forests and environment will be given all possible assistance and support by the state government. Everyone needs to work together to save the rivers and for environment protection. On this occasion, Swami Chidanand Muni, Environmentalist Dr. Anil Joshi and former CO ECO Task Force Colonel HRS Rana were also present.
