Dehradun 07 September, 2018(DIPR)-The Uttarakhand government has started preparations for creating an atmosphere to attract investments from different countries and states in Uttarakhand. Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh reviewed the arrangements being made for the “Investors Summit -2018” being hosted in Dehradun and Rishikesh in the month of October. He instructed that roads be repaired, proper illumination, cleanliness and beautification be ensured. The PWD, Power department, Municipal Corporation, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Nagar Palika Parishad Muni Ki-Reti, Doiwala, National highways, MDDA, GMVN, Forest, Irrigation and other departments were given responsibilities for the same.
Earlier, Chief Secretary with an aim to attract investments, held discussions with departmental secretaries on updating IT and ICT policy, Ayush Policy and making these investor friendly.
Principal Secretary Manisha Panwar, Secretary Finance Amit Negi, Secretary Tourism Dilip Jawalkar, Secretary Urban Development R.K. Sudhanshu, Director, ITDA Amit Sinha, MD SIDCUL Saujanya, DM Dehradun S.A. Murugesan, DM Tehri Sonika and other officers were present in the meeting.
